MoneyInMusic.com is a web site devoted to helping musicians make money with music. We know the music industry can seem huge and centered on the 'recording contract,' so we focus on how musicians can make a living wherever they are by exploring the unnoticed, forgotten and sometimes unusual areas of our lives that are touched by music. We are an informational web site - we aren't trying to sell you anything on this web site. The web site concept and content was created by Chaz Latham, who has at one time worked in nearly every aspect of music that we've discussed. From the early days in his home studio working as an engineer on other projects, to becoming a songwriter with local recognition, Chaz has always had a passion for music. He has spent time as a music teacher, jingle writer, live band musician, live sound technician, radio station music director and systems manager, and done work as a songwriter and post-audio mix editor with a Los Angeles record company. Chaz's formal college education is in computers and music, but includes classes in electronics, writing and business.
Chaz is currently living in the fabulous South Bay of Los Angeles with his wife and daughter. His time is spent building websites, helping musicians through various online efforts, and exploring new ways to create a living with music.
